As my first post i would like to emphasize on the impact of Orkut on the Youth. As One of the prominent users myself i strongly feel that with the orkut a new era ,"The ORKUT Era" has kicked off.
Think of the times when you could'nt be in contact of your bestest frndss and relatives when they moved to a different place altogether. The fear of losing them or atleast the fear of losing contact was in itself sooo big. Now with frnds nd ppl so close and mere a login away ,its so easy and convenient that noone might have thought of.
Imagine and feel the difference between the times between the so-called pre ORKUT Era and ORKUT Era .I strongly feel that it is one of the inspirations for changing the lifestyle among the youth. Think of the moment when one says "Hey Take a Pic Here ,i want to post it on Orkut".
Who cared earlier about the way one would look.. and now seee the difference - Not only we can see but post comments too. And thanks to Digi Cam and uploading engines that has made this task so easy. With Google taking hold of orkut a lot has been changed. The way you can chat and adding your frnds directly to your fav chatting engine GTalk...
Quoting my personal experiences i have found some of my best frnds after 12 yrs on orkut. I never hoped that i would meet or talk to them again... This was a gr88 feeling to talk to your childhood buddies..
What say guys..? dont u feel if no orkut was there how would u pass ur time in collg searching the profiles of ur counterparts and how would you ever talk to your best collg frnds in ur bsy office schedule..
